Novel nanostructure amino acid-based poly(amide-imide)s enclosing benzimidazole pendant group in green medium: fabrication and characterization

Abstract

In the present work, several novel optically active nanostructure poly(amide–imide)s (PAI)s were synthesized via step-growth polymerization reaction of chiral diacids based on pyromellitic dianhydride-derived dicarboxylic acids containing different natural am

Biomodification of cloisite Na + with L-methionine amino acid and preparation of poly(vinyl alcohol)/organoclay nanocomposite films

Abstract

Polymer/layered-silicate hybrids nanocomposites have attracted strong interest in today's materials research, as it is possible to achieve impressive enhancements of material properties compared to the pure polymers.

Bionanocomposites preparation and characterization: Dispersion of surface modified ZnO nanoparticles in optically active poly(amide-imide) derived from 3,5-diamino-N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)benzamide and amino acid

Bionanocomposites (BNCs) containing 4, 8 and 12% (w/w) modified ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) were successfully prepared by homogenous dispersion of these NPs in an optically active poly(amide-imide) (PAI) matrix through an ultrasonic process. PAI was synthesized via solution polycondensation of 3,5-diamino-N-(4-hydroxyphenyl) benzamide and N,N-(pyromellitoyl)-bis-L-phenylalanine diacid chloride at low temperature.

Morphology properties of nanostructure poly(Amide-Imide)s based on N-Trimellitylimido-S-amino acids and 5-(2- benzimidazole)-1,3-phenylenediamine under green conditions

Abstract

This reports a successful approach to chiral synthetic poly(amide-imide)s by condensation polymerization reaction of chiral diacids N-trimellitylimido-S-valine, N-trimellitylimido-L-leucine, N-trimellitylimido-L-alanine, and N-trimellitylimido-L-isoleucine with 5-(2-benzi
