In this article, at first, citric acid (CA) was used as a capping agent to control the size, dispersion and morphology of copper oxide (CuO) NPs (CuO-CA). The presence of CA on the surface of CuO NPs was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analyses.
