• Over 6 years of teaching experience in the area of petroleum reservoir engineering at the university level
• Over 6 years of solid reservoir engineering experience with focus on thermal recovery methods
• About 3 years of solid thermal reservoir engineering experience with an emphasis in Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) and E-SAGD production mechanisms as well as water management
• About 2 years of industrial scale research experience with an emphasis in formation damage mechanisms
• Leadership experience, including organizing events and mentoring students
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the design and construction of sophisticated experimental setup
• Strong inter-personal skills; and comfortable working effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Experience with reservoir simulation software (STARS, Eclipse & Petrel RE); proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) software, and programming (VB, Delphi, C++)
