Mohsen Hamzeh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology from 2023. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran polytechnic), Tehran, Iran in 2013 with honors. He was granted the distinguished talent M.S. position at Amirkabir University of Technology in 2013. He got the M.S. degree in electrical engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology and again he was granted the distinguished talent Ph.D. position at Amirkabir University of Technology in 2015. In 2020, he received his Ph.D degree from Amirkabir University of technology with honors. He was visiting researcher at Energy Department of Polytecnico di Milano University, Milan, Italy from 2017 to 2018. Also, he was postdoc fellow at Amirkabir Universy of Technology from 2021 to 2022. He won different Iran national elites foundation awards from 2015 to 2023.
His research interests include reliability evaluation, application of AI in energy systems, smart grids, PHEVs and high-voltage electrical systems.
