Ecosystem services of Gavkhuni international wetland were assessed and evaluated using stated preference approach (Contingent Valuation), market pricing and replacement cost methods. Annual total economic value of Gavkhuni wetland functions was estimated 27010 and 10694 billion rials in wet and dry conditions, respectively. Regarding the results, Gavkhuni wetland has lost more than 60% of its values related to ecosystem services in the current dry situation.
