CHIRAL POLY(AMIDE-THIOESTER-IMIDE)S HAVING THIADIAZOL GROUP: MICROWAVE-ASSISTED SYNTHESIS AND STUDY OF THERMO-OPTICAL BEHAVIOR
Abstract
The present study reports the synthesis and characterization of a new class of optically active nanostructured poly(amide-thioester-imide)s (PATEI)s, having 2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (AMT), as a potential corrosion inh
Bio-modification of Cloisite Na+ with Chiral L-Leucine and Preparation of New Poly(vinyl alcohol)/Organo-nanoclay Bionanocomposite Films
Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to prepare poly(vinyl alcohol)/organo-modified Cloisite Na+ bionanocomposites with various amounts of organo-nanoclay. At first the pristine sodium montmorillonite (Cloisite Na+) was modified by protonated form of enantiomeric pure L-leucine amino acid as a cationic surfactant.
Molten salt-supported polycondensation of optically active diacid monomers with an aromatic thiazole bearing diamine using microwave irradiation
Abstract
Microwave heating was used to prepare optically active thiazole-bearing poly(amide-imide)s. Polymerization reactions were carried out in the molten tetrabutylammonium bromide as a green molten salt medium and triphenyl phosphite as the homogenizer.
