Mohammad Reza Ahmadzadeh was born on the 2nd of Sept. 1966 at Gaz Borkhar, Isfahan. He has received his BSc in the field of Electronic Engineering from the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Holly Mashhad, Iran, in 1989. He also received his MSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Tarbiat Modares, Tehran, in 1992. His MSc thesis was “Printed Farsi scripts Recognition". He has published a few papers on this subject.

He did his Ph.D.  at the Centre for Vision, Speech, and Signal Processing (CVSSP), University of Surrey, Guildford, UK. His research area was "Reasoning Under Uncertainty in Remote Sensing" under the supervision of Prof. Maria Petrou.

He served as a lecturer on  Electronics at Shiraz University, Iran (1993-1997) and as an Assistant Professor of Electronic Engineering 2001-2004. He has been the Deputy of Student Affairs of School of Electronic Industry (1995-1997) and chair of Electronic Department (2001-2003) at this university.

He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology, Iran. Mohammad Reza and has been the Founder and Head of E-Learning Center (2005-2009) and the Deputy of Student Affairs (2009-2011) at this university. He also had a position as the Director of Technical Support (Central Laboratory) of Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) from 2012 to 2018. He is the Deputy of Education Affairs of the ECE department from 2018.

He is interested in Signal Processing, Image Analysis, Expert Systems, Information Fusion, and Machine Learning. Here are some topics related to his research.
