The 2nd Seminar on Harmonic Analysis and Applications
Organized by the Iranian Mathematical Society (IMS)
The Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM)
Tehran, Iran
January 5-7, 2014
The Seminar is a meeting of mathematicians interested in research areas centered on all aspects of harmonic analysis; its goal is to provide an opportunity for researchers to present their newest results, and to meet for informal discussions.
Harmonic analysis and applications is a central, broad, and burgeoning area on the international mathematical landscape, and Iranian mathematicians have played an important role in the subject by their research and educational activities.
So, it is necessary to provide a platform for professors and Ph.D. students to exchange ideas, results and problems on the subject. This is the main purpose of holding of annual seminars in this field.
The 1st seminar on harmonic analysis and applications was held at the Isfahan University of Technology on January 2013. Now, the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) is proud to host the 2nd seminar on harmonic analysis and applications.
