Complementary Wildlife Ecology 3 Cr: This course provides an overview of the most important methodologies/techniques used by modern ecologists. The first part of the course focuses on the scientific method, designing experiments in ecological researches and choosing the appropriate statistical tests for analyzing the data collected in the field. The rest of the course concentrates on the practical aspects of the ecology such as estimating abundance, methods for measuring spatial pattern of organisms and methods for measuring diversity in an ecosystem.IUT Web Courses
