Description
Using biomass-derived green polymers are reasonable solutions for environmental bioremediation instead of petroleum-based polymers that commonly utilized renewable resources like plants, compost, and agricultural wastes. These biopolymers have numerous merits such as biodegradability, renewability, therefore, they decrease environmental impacts. Biopolymers are widely used in many applications such as water treatment, soil remediation, and air purification. Some green biopolymers are derived from cellulose, chitosan, starch, and lignin. Various techniques are utilized to address the behavior of biopolymers, adsorption methods, and pollution degradation pathways that affect their performance efficiency as well as emphasize the importance of understanding the adsorption mechanisms for impressive remediation. A series of important criteria for choosing biomass-derived polymers are biodegradability …
