Michele Mormile

I supervised Dr Michele Mormile as part of my Young Investigator Group at DESY. For the academic degree, he was enrolled at KIT (my YIG university partner) under the supervision of Prof. Ulrich Husemann. His thesis, entitled

"Searches for the rare tWZ and tWγ processes at the LHC using machine learning techniques",

was part of the first evidence for the tWZ process at the LHC (Phys. Lett. B 855 (2024) 138815). The search for tWγ based on graph neural networks, is ongoing towards publication with the help of students from IUT.

Michele has found his path in industry.
